Together, We Turn Community Potential into Action
As we close out another fiscal year, our hearts are full of gratitude for you, our Foundation family.
Thanks to your generosity, more than $910,000 in contributions brought transformational programs to life right here in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Mountain View. Together, we uplifted neighbors, sparked creativity, championed youth-led initiatives, and sustained vital services. Your giving fuels the meaningful work of our Local Impact Collective—as well as community grants, scholarships, and the volunteer-powered partnerships that support our cities and strengthen emergency response.
We hope you’ll take a few minutes to read about some of the impact you helped create. We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished together, and energized by the possibilities ahead!
Here’s to another year of showing up for one another.

Celebrating Culture & Community: LAMVCF Sponsors the Mountain View Obon Festival!
The Obon Festival, hosted by the Mountain View Buddhist Temple, is a beloved Japanese tradition that honors ancestors and brings families and communities together. Rooted in Buddhist customs, Obon blends remembrance, reflection, and cultural celebration. The Taiko drum performances (pictured above) were a hit!

Creativity Persists Amid Funding Cuts
At LAMVCF, we’re committed to keeping vibrant arts and culture close to home. This year, we proudly became the fiscal sponsor of the Los Altos Downtown Performing Arts Theater Project, and we continue to back beloved cultural celebrations like the Mountain View Obon Festival.
With federal and state arts funding under threat in 2025, local support is more critical than ever. Programs that spark creativity, celebrate culture, and connect neighbors rely on stable investment to thrive.
