IdaRose Sylvester

Community Leadership & Learning Manager

IdaRose Sylvester is a community leader, nonprofit founder, and tech entrepreneur focused on helping people and organizations reach their full potential. She manages the foundation’s Community Leadership Program (formerly LEAD) and Student Leadership Program (formerly E3), supporting adults and youth to become community leaders. She is the Chair of Mountain View’s Human Relations Commission and sits on multiple nonprofit boards covering environmental sustainability, mental health, local history, and city planning.

During the pandemic, she started the award-winning nonprofit, Appetite for Good, a sponsored project of LAMVCF that helps restaurants survive while feeding those in need. She is also the founder of Silicon Valley Link, a company that helps startups build and grow from day one to successful exit.

IdaRose’s passions include equitable communities, housing policy, sustainability, and mental health.
