Eric Mark

Eric Mark is a 30 plus year resident of Los Altos and Mountain View. He was born and raised in Albany, Oregon, and then attended Stanford University, earning a B.S and M.S. in Industrial Engineering. After working several years in Los Angeles, Eric returned to the Bay Area, working as a self-employed IT consultant.
Volunteerism has always been important to Eric, starting with tutoring high school students in East Palo Alto while in college, coaching in various youth leagues spanning three decades, being actively involved during his children’s years at Oak Elementary, mentoring high schoolers and tutoring middle schoolers through Mentor Tutor Connection, and teaching at StreetCode Academy, an East Palo Alto based organization focused on providing free STEM education to underserved communities.

Eric is married to Amy Kuan, and they have 3 children: Allison, Nicholas and Natalie. All three attended LASD schools and MVHS. Eric is retired, and when he’s not volunteering, he enjoys pickleball, biking, visiting National Parks, hiking in the many parks and reserves in our area, travel, lunching with friends, and keeping his mind active!
