About the Program

LAMVCF typically operates two Community Grant funding cycles each year with the help of our Grants committee, which is made up of local residents.

In the Spring, our Committee members recommend a focus topic for the grant cycle, chosen from various critical issues that have been flagged to us. During the Fall cycle, we provide unrestricted operating support grants.

In the last 12 months, LAMVCF has distributed over $223,000 to over 60 organizations through our Community Grants Program. View our Current Grant Recipients and Previous Grant Recipients.

Who Can Apply

As a local grantmaker, LAMVCF aligns its local funding with nonprofits and public entities based in – or directly serving – the communities of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Mountain View.

We do not consider funding requests for capital and endowment campaigns, endowment funds, political or religious activities, fundraising events, or for-profit entities.

Details

The application period for the Spring Grant Cycle is now closed. Please check back in September for details of our Fall Grant Cycle.
