Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation (LAMVCF) is a 501(c)(3) that provides programs and services for the residents of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Mountain View.

LAMVCF Statement on Participation in Non-Partisan Activities

Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization. Our by-laws (Section 1.4) state in part the following: “The Foundation shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office (including, without limitation, the publication or distribution of statements), except as provided in Section 501(h) of the Internal Revenue Code.”

The IRS recognizes Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization bearing Tax ID #77-0273721.
