Mountain View Affordable Housing Fund

Mountain View is home to the teachers who teach our kids, the caregivers who look after our parents, and the longtime neighbors who make this place ours. The City of Mountain View has committed restricted housing dollars to keep them here, and now it's our turn to match it. Stand shoulder to shoulder with LAMVCF and the Mountain View Affordable Housing Fund, so everyone who calls this place home can stay, belong, and thrive. Every gift helps us meet the City's match.

Affordable housing has long been a City Council priority, shaped by the City's 2022–2027 Affordable Housing Strategy and 2023–2031 Housing Element, both of which call for creative partnerships between the City and community funders like LAMVCF.

The City’s $1 million contribution will establish a designated fund managed by LAMVCF to:

  • Support new and existing affordable housing developments in Mountain View;
  • Attract additional private and philanthropic contributions to expand impact;
  • Provide transparent reporting and oversight aligned with City housing goals;
  • Advance Program 4.4: Partnerships to Support Affordable Housing in the City’s Housing Element.

LAMVCF will manage the fund and report on progress every step of the way, so donors can see exactly where their generosity goes.
