In the spirit of connecting compassionate people with the causes and organizations that create positive change, we invite you to open a fund with us.
Why We Offer Funds
LAMVCF can help you support your favorite charitable organization with a designated or field-of-interest fund, honor a loved one with a memorial fund, or create a scholarship fund for local students. You may also support an existing fund by clicking on one of the “donate” buttons below.
We will work with you to determine the goals for your fund and your anticipated outcomes. We take a modest fee of either 3% of income or 3% of the average daily balance. This fee goes towards our administrative expenses for processing donations, grants, and scholarships and helping to spread the word that your fund is open.

Community Disaster Response Fund
When disaster strikes, communities need to act fast. The Community Disaster Response Fund exists so that when crisis hits local generosity can be harnessed and deployed quickly. Donations are channeled directly to local nonprofits on the front lines of relief, turning community compassion into action when it matters most.
Mental Health Matters Fund
Mental health is community health. The Mental Health Matters Fund supports local nonprofits and schools working to expand access to mental health services, reduce stigma, and ensure that residents can get the help they need. When our community invests in mental health, everyone benefits.
Mountain View Affordable Housing Fund
The Mountain View Affordable Housing Fund is a public-philanthropic partnership with the City of Mountain View to support current building projects that offer access to safe, affordable housing for local residents and essential workers.

LAMVCF celebrates and supports our LGBTQIA+ neighbors with the Rainbow Solidarity Fund. Even in progressive communities, LGBTQIA+ individuals and organizations face inequities, made worse by recent federal policies and funding cuts.
Passport Equity Fund

The Fund was started in 2013 to honor the retirement and legacy of Roy Lave, LAMVCF's Founder and first Executive Director. The fund supports local youth programs and building community.

GreenSpacesMV is a community group in Mountain View, CA striving for healthy communities thriving with urban tree canopy, nature, native biodiversity, and open space generally. We support growing a resilient urban ecosystem that bolsters the health and sustainability of our community where our natural environment is harmoniously integrated with the human-built environment.
Los Altos Village Association Fund
TheLos Altos Village Association Fund supports LAVA's downtown beautification and community benefit activities.
Mountain View High School Ambassadors
The Mountain View High School Ambassadors foster inclusiveness and acceptance for all groups, from all corners of campus. Funds are used to stock "Treasure Closet" for all students to access basic needs items and for holiday gift cards for families in need.
Midpeninsula Post
The Midpeninsula Post’s mission is to bring local student journalists together to provide accessible, relevant news to students in the Bay Area.
Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade Fund
The Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade Fund supports the Festival of Lights parade, held every year on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in downtown Los Altos. Mark 50 years of community light with a $50 gift!

Maura Coursey was a force of nature. She was funny and brilliant with a heart of gold. Her fund is focused on equity, inclusion, trauma-informed approaches, harm reduction, and fierce safeguarding of individual dignity and worth in marginalized populations.
Michael Lobrovich Foundation
The Michael Lobrovich Foundation supports The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation which enriches the lives of children with special needs through the sport of fishing. It also supports local animal shelters.

Colin Rudolph Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Colin Rudolph Memorial Scholarship Fundprovides an annual scholarship to a Menlo-Atherton graduating senior football player. Colin was passionate about all things football, especially coaching local high school teams.
Science for Good Scholarship Fund
The Science for Good Scholarship Fund provides support to high school seniors and first-year college students pursuing science degrees with the aim of applying scientific knowledge to the betterment of the world.
