Strengthen the Local Nonprofit Ecosystem

WE BELIEVE supporting and growing nonprofit capacity in our area is crucial for building a resilient community where diverse needs are met.

Twice a year, our Grants Committee, made up of community members, identifies areas of priority for our community. They then direct funding to local nonprofits. We also provide strategic capacity and guidance to access additional resources for nonprofit initiatives. Learn more >

We take care of administrative and back-end tasks for social startups and entrepreneurs so they can focus more of their time and energy on doing good. In essence, we help build the local nonprofit sector. Learn more >

Grants from LAMVCF helped fund this upgraded commercial kitchen for the Day Worker Center of Mountain View. They serve healthy meals to local families twice a day, seven days a week.
